About Welsh Valley Treehouse Lodges

Welsh Valley Treehouse Lodges offer the benefit of feeling secluded in the countryside but within only 10 minutes drive you can be in the towns of Llandrindod Wells or Builth Wells.

It is also conveniently located for the Royal Welsh Showground which is 4.5 miles away as well as many other spots of interest and beauty.

Being in the centre of the largest county of Wales (Powys) you have a range of things to do within easy reach of our lodges some of which include:

Hereford Views square

Llandrindod Wells
– 3.5 miles

Llandrindod Wells was historically built as a Victorian spa town and still holds its Victorian charm. With a range of shops, cafes and things to do, surrounded by natural beauty, you’ll have a wonderful time exploring.

Builth Wells
– 5.5 miles

Builth Wells is a small town rich in history. With a range of shops, cafes and its weekly livestock market you’ll enjoy spending time in this market town.

The Royal Welsh Showground
– 4.5 miles

The Royal Welsh Showground is home to The Smallholders Countryside Festival, The Royal Welsh Summer Show and The Winter Fair.

Hay on Wye
– 20 miles

Hay on Wye is renowned for books and bookshops and home the Hay Festival – the worlds biggest and best literacy festival held every year in late spring.

Brecon
– 22 miles

Brecon is a market town at the top edge of the Brecon Beacons known for the Brecon Jazz Festival, its independent shops and cafés, military connections, and its magnificent cathedral.

Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) – 28 miles

Brecon Beacons National Park is bursting with natural beauty there is plenty to explore including Pen y Fan and Cribyn, its highest peaks.

Rhayader
– 12 miles

Rhayader, known as the outdoor capital of Wales, is a busy market town with a flourishing livestock market. It is the gateway to the beautiful Elan Valley and home to the Red Kite.

Elan Valley
– 18 miles

The Elan Valley is situated in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains and offers plenty of opportunities to explore whether on foot, by bike or by car. There are 4 spectacular dams, scenic walks and trails to discover and by night you can enjoy star gazing as the Elan Valley has achieved International Dark Sky Park status.

Raglan, Usk
– 47.5 miles

A picturesque Welsh village known for its impressive remains of it medieval castle (Raglan Castle) set in glorious countryside.
